Writing and Marketing-both sides of the brain!
Oct 23, 2024 by Rebecca Teresa Holbrook
I often feel my brain is listing to the right, it's a wonder I don't walk in circles! I am trying to train my left brain to take care of 'bidness, but it's a reluctant student. Such is the side of self-publishing.
Winning the Nancy Pearl Literary Award last month at the PNWA conference (Thank you very much!) has given me a boost, but I still have a lot of marketing to do on my own. As I navigate this new world, I'll be glad to share what I learn with anyone else considering publishing their own books.
Just write to me now and then if I end up in the loony bin from a cracked cranium.
I'm well into the first draft of my sequel to Omie's Well, 'The Deer Stone'. Many more stories from my ancestors have been woven in and a couple of new characters have shown up. One came to me in a dream! A preacher named Isa Sparrow. It all amazes me still.
